Currently working on McSweeney’s Mammoth Treasury of Thrilling Tales, a great 2002 collection of short stories by literary masterminds like Michael Crichton, Stephen King, and Neil Gaiman.
There is a plethora of other great writers within and is definitely worth it!
Books are like busses, sometimes. You wait for a few years, and then a clump of them come along together.

Written by me, drawn by Bryan Talbot, inked by Mark Buckingham. Published in 1987 in Alan Moore’s AARGH (“Artists against Rampant Government Homophobia”) a fundraising book which protested the then Tory government’s Clause (later Section) 28.

Making fiction for children, making books for children, isn’t something you do for money.
